Public Employee Retirees, Inc. (PERI) is a retiree political action association for persons receiving
benefits from the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS). We are a non-profit,
non-partisan organization originally incorporated in 1970. Our main purpose is to support
and protect our retirement system, pensions, and healthcare benefits.

View a Brochure regarding the PERI Mission here.

All of PERI's officers and district representatives are retired Ohio workers who volunteer their time for the good of all OPERS retirees.

PERI does not support any candidates or political parties. It does not sell or endorse any products or services. It does not sell or give away the names of its members.

Although PERI is a state-level organization, most Ohio counties have also developed local PERI chapters, so that members can meet regularly to discuss issues important to OPERS benefit recipients. The Wayne County Chapter 70 was created in 1988.
